What is Heidi Health?
Heidi Health is an advanced AI medical scribe designed to transcribe patient visits, generate clinical notes, fill out documents, and dictate letters.
This means that the clinician you see if more able to listen to you, rather than on typing notes in to the computer system.
Why have we decided to use Heidi Health?
- Improve our focus on you: In automating the process of typing up consultation notes, Heidi Health allows the clinician to spend more time listening and talking to you rather than focussing on the computer screen in front of them.
- Improve accuracy: By using an AI scribe, this ensures that all the details of your visit are accurately recorded, rather than relying on the memory of the clinician after your visit. This improves the accuracy of your records, reducing the risk of errors and or omissions.
- Improve administration: Heidi Health helps with various administrative tasks following your consultation, such as generating referral letters, filling out forms or generating summaries. This means you can receive information following your visit accurately and quickly.
How Your Data is Managed
- Data Security and Privacy: Heidi Health adheres to stringent UK compliance frameworks, including the Data Protection Act, GDPR, and NHS standards such as DCB0129, DTAC, and DSPT. This ensures that your personal information is handled securely and confidentially.
- Local Data Hosting: All data is hosted within the EU/EEA, enhancing security and compliance with local data protection regulations.
- Temporary Data Storage: Audio recordings used for generating notes are not stored permanently. They are processed and then deleted, ensuring your data remains private and secure. Heidi Health will be used for all GP consultations at our practice, if you would like to opt out, please inform the GP before your consultation.

We employ robust and strict accesscontrols meaning only your clinician has access to sensitive informatio - We are GDPR and NHS compliant and our information management systems are also ISO27001 accredited for data security.
Where is my data stored?
We prioritise data sovereignty by ensuring all our data is locally hosted within the UK. This practice enhances data security while also ensuring compliance with UK data protection regulations.
How is my data used?
Our approach to data collection is threefold:

Do you store recordings of my appointment?
Conversations are transcribed simultaneously while they happen, meaning no recordings are ever stored. Notes that a clinician saves from the appointment will be added to your Electronic Health Record in your clinician’s Practice Management System, as standard.
